What type of appliance did you purchase?

What should I expect upon delivery of my washing machine, if i've purchased installation and delivery?

Basic installation can only occur at the time of your scheduled delivery appointment.

When receiving your washing machine, the delivery team will:

• Remove shipping restraints; attach front legs; adjust rear legs.

• Connect existing drain hose to new unit.

• Connect new waterline hose kit to existing hot/cold taps.

• Level appliance as required.

• Check for water leaks.

• Leave all "To be removed by recipient only" literature on/in the product where attached by the manufacturer.

• Gather all other literature and provide them to the recipient.

The delivery team will not:

• Hook up the washer if no electrical grounding is available.

• Connect the new washer to old hoses. Old hoses must be disconnected from the home by the homeowner prior to delivery so that 2 new standard 6' Stainless Steel washer fill hoses can be installed by the delivery team. Custom new hoses are not available.

• Remove spring-loaded, folding and sliding glass doors.

• Remove windows.

• Hoist merchandise or lift product above their waist.

• Place Merchandise on top of an elevator.

• Perform carpentry work (removing molding/banisters drilling into recipient's walls or floors, etc.).

• Perform electrical work (changing fuses, wiring within an electrical outlet).

• The delivery team will not allow the recipient to carry Merchandise or assist with Merchandise hook-up.

• The delivery team will not stack units using old stacking kits; kits must be new.

• The delivery team will not disconnect old units; old unit must be disconnected in order to hookup new units.

• Unplug from wall outlet.

• Disconnect water hoses from old unit and exiting hot/cold water taps.

• Disconnect drain hose from old unit (keep hose connected to wall to drain).

• Reverse washer door.

• Cut or alter the manufacturer's attachments.

If unable to complete a hook-up, the delivery team will:

• Explain why the hook-up cannot be completed.

What should I expect upon delivery of my electric dryer?

Basic installation can only occur at the time of your scheduled delivery appointment.


When receiving your electric dryer, the delivery team will:

  • Attach dryer legs.
  • Connect to an existing 220 volt outlet using a new "pigtail".
  • Connect dryer vent at the back of the unit only.
  • Test the appliance to ensure it's in proper working condition.
  • Level the appliance as required.

 

The delivery team will not:

  • Install the appliance if the existing vent does not vent outside the home.
  • Install the appliance if the metal vent cannot be connected to an existing venting system.
  • Connect the appliance to a ceiling vent.
  • Connect the appliance to a side vent.
  • Connect the new dryer to the old vent. The old vent must be disconnected from the home's venting system by the homeowner prior to delivery so that the new 8' Aluminum Foil dryer vent can be connected by the delivery team. Custom new vents are not available.
  • Remove spring-loaded, folding and sliding glass doors.

  • Test that the on-off switch starts cycle and for possible gas leaks.
  • Install the appliance if the metal vent cannot be conected to the existing venting system.
  • Install the appliance if the existing vent does not vent outside the home.
  • Install the appliance if the gas supply is to be connected to a liquid propane supply source or to any other supply than natural gas.
  • Install the appliance if the gas shut-off valve is NOT above the floor.
  • Connect the appliance to a ceiling vent.
  • Connect the appliance to a side vent.
  • Connect the new dryer to the old vent. Old vent must be disconnected from the home's venting system by the homeowner prior to delivery so that a new 8' Aluminum Foil dryer vent can be connected by the delivery team.Custom new vents are not available.

What should I expect upon delivery of my steam washers & dryers?

Basic installation can only occur at the time of your scheduled delivery appointment.

When receiving your steam washer or dryer, the delivery team will:

  • Connect steam hoses and Y connector provided parts are included with the units purchased or customer supplies new at time of delivery.
  • Remove shipping restraints; attach front legs; adjust rear legs.
  • Connect drain hose; connect to existing hot/cold water taps.
  • Level appliance as required.
  • Check for water leaks.
  • Leave all "To be removed by recipient only" literature on / in the product where attached by the manufacturer.
  • Gather all other literature and provide them to the recipient.

 

The delivery team will not:

  • Connect steam hoses and Y connector if not available at time of delivery. Refer to the product page to verify if the additional steam hoses are included as these are separate from the standard hoses. If not included, new steam hoses must be purchased separately and available at time of delivery otherwise connection will not be performed and cannot be rescheduled.
  • Install your steam dryer if water-hoses are not disconnected prior to delivery team's arrival.
  • Install the appliance if the existing vent does not vent outside the home.
  • Install the appliance if the metal vent cannot be connected to an existing venting system.
  • Place Merchandise on top of an elevator
  • Hook up the washer if no electrical grounding is available.

When receiving your laundry pedestals the delivery team will:

  • Install pedestal where the pedestal is delivered with the laundry appliance, provided the pedestal is compatible with the model of laundry appliance.

The delivery team will not:

  • Install if the pedestal is not compatible with the model of laundry appliance being delivered.
  • Go back if the pedestal is not present at the time of delivery of the landry appliance.
  • Remove spring-loaded, folding and sliding glass doors.
  • Remove windows.
  • Hoist Merchandise or lift product above their waist.
  • Place Merchandise on top of an elevator.
  • Perform carpentry work (removing molding/banisters drilling into recipient's walls or floors, etc.).
  • Perform electrical work (changing fuses, wiring within an electrical outlet).
  • The delivery team will not allow the recipient to carry Merchandise or assist with Merchandise hook-up.
  • The delivery team will not disconnect old units; old unit must be disconnected in order to hookup new units.
  • Cut or alter the manufacturer's attachments.

When receiving your laundry stacking kit, the delivery team will:

  • Install stacking kit if the customer has the correct kit for the laundry pair being delivered.

The delivery team will not:

  • Install stacking kit not designed for the laundry pair being delivered.
  • Go back if the stacking kit is not present at the time of the delivery of the laundry pair.
  • Unstack existing laundry pair.
  • Install stacking kit that requires drilling into product or property to install.
  • Install new washer or dryer onto an existing stacking kit -- new stacking kit must be used.
  • Remove spring-loaded, folding and sliding glass doors.
  • Remove windows.
  • Hoist Merchandise or lift product above their waist.
  • Place Merchandise on top of an elevator.
  • Perform carpentry work (removing molding/banisters drilling into recipient's walls or floors, etc.).
  • Perform electrical work (changing fuses, wiring within an electrical outlet).
  • The delivery team will not allow the recipient to carry Merchandise or assist with Merchandise hook-up.

When receiving your refrigerator and/or freezer, the delivery team will:

  • Place all racks, crispers, ice trays, door handles and other features in factory recommended settings.
  • Plug in the appliance and turn to a mid-range cold setting.
  • Remove and re-attach handles and doors to complete delivery, as needed.
  • Align the doors as required.
  • Level the product as required.
  • Leave all "To be removed by Customer only" literature on or in the product.
  • Hand recipient all other literature.

 

The delivery team will not:

  • Connect a water line, including ice maker installation.
  • Shut off the residential water main.
  • Install manufacturer-provided "anti-tip" or other range stability device.
  • Remove spring-loaded, folding and sliding glass doors.
  • Remove windows.
  • Hoist Merchandise or lift product above their waist.
  • Place Merchandise on top of an elevator.
  • Perform carpentry work (removing molding/banisters drilling into walls or floors, etc.).
  • Perform electrical work (changing fuses, wiring within an electrical outlet).
  • The delivery team will not allow a recipient to carry Merchandise or assist with Merchandise hook-up.
  • Install anti tip or other range stability device
  • Install Kick Plates
  • Install Foot Pedals
  • Install Casters
  • Install Trim Kits
  • Reverse fridge or freezer door
  • Cut or alter the manufacturer's attachments

 

If unable to complete a hook-up, the delivery team will:

  • Explain why the hook-up cannot be completed.

 

Will It Fit?

In the event suitable access is not available, the delivery agent reserves the right to terminate delivery at the cost of the customer.

When receiving your gas range, the delivery team will:

  • Remove protective plastic, inside and out of the appliance.
  • Set grates and burners in place.
  • Level merchandise as required.

 

The delivery team will not:

  • Connect the gas line.
  • Install manufacturer-provided "anti-tip" or other range stability devices.
  • Remove spring-loaded, folding and sliding glass doors.
  • Remove windows.
  • Hoist Merchandise or lift product above their waist.
  • Place Merchandise on top of an elevator.
  • Perform carpentry work (removing molding/banisters drilling into walls or floors, etc.).
  • Perform electrical work (changing fuses, wiring within an electrical outlet).
  • The delivery team will not allow a recipient to carry Merchandise or assist with Merchandise hook-up.
  • Install anti tip or other range stability device.
  • Install Kick Plates.

The delivery team will not:

  • Install or unplug appliances that have direct wire connections (no plugs).
  • Install manufacturer-provided "anti-tip" or other range stability device.
  • Cut or alter the manufacturer's attachments.
  • Place Merchandise on top of an elevator.

 

Will It Fit?

In the event suitable access is not available, the delivery agent reserves the right to terminate delivery at the cost of the customer.

When receiving your drop-in range, the delivery team will:

  • Deliver to the room of choice.
  • Remove all packaging.
  • Haul away old unit if uninstalled by owner.

 

The delivery team will not:

  • Set up, Hook Up or Level
  • Cut or alter the manufacturer's attachments
  • Place Merchandise on top of an elevator.

 

Will It Fit?

In the event suitable access is not available, the delivery agent reserves the right to terminate delivery at the cost to the customer.

Basic installation is not included with dishwashers, however it can be purchased as part of your delivery.

When receiving your dishwasher, the delivery team will:

  • Cut the carton or plastic wrap at bottom (leaving skid or foam base intact).
  • Lift packaging off product to show recipient condition of product.
  • Replace carton or wrap.

 

The delivery team will not:

  • Hook-up and/or install dishwasher.
  • Haul Away recipient's current dishwasher if still installed.
  • Cut or alter the manufacturer's attachments.
  • Place Merchandise on top of an elevator.

Basic installation is not included for dishwashers and/or ovens, however it can be purchased as part of your delivery.

For portable dishwashers, built-in ovens, and trash compactors, the delivery team will:

  • On recipient's request, un-carton product and place in location that recipient specifies.
  • If the item comes with casters, attach casters.

 

The delivery team will not:

  • Hook-up portable dishwasher, built-in ovens or compactors.
  • Haul away recipient's current unit still installed.
  • Cut or alter the manufacturer's attachments.
  • Place Merchandise on top of an elevator.

 

Will It Fit?

In the event suitable access is not available, the delivery agent reserves the right to terminate delivery at the cost to the customer

Basic installation is not included with built-in appliances, however it can be purchased as part of your delivery
