SecondShop Price Match Guarantee 

Valid on purchases made Dec 1, 2025 – Dec 31, 2025 

We want you to feel confident you’re always getting the best value. If you find the same item at a lower price from another authorized Canadian retailer, we’ll match it. 

How It Works 

  • Price match requests must be made at the time of purchase or within 24 hours of placing your order. 
  • Applies only to identical products (same brand, model number, finish, SKU, and condition). 
  • For scratch & dent items, visible damage must be of similar size, type, and position on the product. Final assessment of scratch & dent items is at the discretion of SecondShop. 
  • If purchasing a package of items, all products in the package must be identical in brand, model number, finish, SKU, and condition to qualify. 
  • Item must be in stock at the competitor at the time of your request. 

Where We Match 

  • Applies only to authorized Canadian retailers for example: Costco, Home Depot, BestBuy and Rona. The price must be visible online and will be verified by SecondShop.  
  • Excludes third-party marketplaces such as Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, Kijiji, or eBay. 
  • Items must be unused. 
  • Items must be priced in Canadian Dollars.  

Exclusions 

Our Price Match Guarantee does not apply to: 

  • Refurbished products or items with varying scratch & dent condition 
  • Coupons, rebates, or free-with-purchase promotions 
  • Special financing offers or deferred payment plans (e.g., “Don’t pay until 2026”) 
  • Delivery, installation, haul-away, or warranty services 
  • Obvious misprints or pricing errors 
  • Clearance pricing 
  • Reseller or wholesale pricing 

 

Refund Method 

  • Refunds are issued as either:  
  • A credit back to your original payment method, or 
  • A store credit/gift card 
  • Refund method is at SecondShop’s discretion. 
  • Approved refunds are processed within 3 business days. 

 

How to Claim 

  1. Email customerservice@secondshop.ca within 24 hours of purchase. 
  2. Include your order number and a screenshot showing the lower price. Clearly state the price and competitor’s name.  
  3. Our team will review your request and confirm eligibility. 

 

Free Gift with Purchase Terms & Conditions 

Valid on purchases made December 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025. Offer ends at midnight EST on December 31, 2025.  

If your qualifying spend on SecondShop products and services meets one of the following thresholds, you’ll receive a free Dyson gift: 

  • Spend $2,000 (before tax and shipping): Receive a free Dyson V7. 
  • Spend $4,500 (before tax and shipping): Choose any Dyson product available on SecondShop.ca as your free gift. 

 

Eligibility 

 

  • Applies to all eligible products and services sold on SecondShop.ca. 
  • Qualifying spend is calculated before taxes and shipping, and after discounts or promotional codes are applied. 
  • If your total spend falls below a threshold after discounts are applied, you may choose to remove the discount and qualify for the free gift before checkout. 
  • Limit one (1) free gift per qualifying order. 
  • Free gifts cannot be exchanged, substituted, or redeemed for cash, store credit, or other products. 
  • Offer does not apply to wholesale or reseller orders. 
  • Offer valid for Canadian residents only. 
  • Promotion available while supplies last. 

 

Returns & Refunds 

If you return items that contributed to your qualifying spend and the remaining total falls below the required threshold: 

  • You must return the free gift in its original, unused condition and packaging within the standard return period, or 
  • The SecondShop retail value of the free gift will be deducted from your refund to the original payment method. 

If the free gift is not returned, or is returned used or damaged, SecondShop reserves the right to deduct or charge the full retail value of the gift. 

Fulfilment 

  • Free gifts may ship separately from the qualifying order.  
  • Delivery timing may vary depending on inventory availability and location. SecondShop will provide tracking information once the gift ships.  
  • Offer is valid while supplies last.  

Program Changes & Limitations 

SecondShop reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to modify, suspend, or cancel this promotion at any time without notice. 

Fraudulent, abusive, or suspicious behavior (including multiple accounts or return manipulation) may result in disqualification from this and future promotions.
