Features

Two Dual Radiant Elements

Two expandable dual radiant elements adjust to fit small or large cookware, giving busy home cooks the flexibility to use a variety of pots and pans without wasted energy or uneven heating.

Built-In Warm Zone

A dedicated Warm Zone keeps finished dishes at the perfect serving temperature while you finish the rest of the meal, so everything hits the table at exactly the right moment.

30-Inch Ceramic Glass Fit

At 30 inches wide with a sleek Schott Ceran ceramic glass surface, this cooktop drops into standard kitchen cutouts and wipes clean in seconds, making it an effortless upgrade for design-forward homeowners and first-time kitchen remodelers alike.

Why You'll Love It

The Whirlpool WCE97US0KS is a 30-inch electric ceramic glass cooktop built for home cooks who want more flexibility and a cleaner kitchen aesthetic than a basic coil or entry-level smooth-top model. With two expandable dual radiant elements and a dedicated warm zone, it handles everything from large pots to keeping finished dishes ready to serve.

  • A strong choice for kitchen renovations or upgrades where a 30-inch cutout is already in place, thanks to its standard 78.26 cm width.
  • Two dual radiant elements let you switch between small and large element sizes to match your cookware, reducing wasted energy and improving heat distribution.
  • The dedicated Warm Zone keeps dishes at serving temperature without using a full burner, ideal for meal prep and entertaining.
  • Five cooking zones on a single ceramic glass surface give busy households the flexibility to cook multiple dishes simultaneously.
  • A great fit for home cooks stepping up from a basic electric cooktop who want more zones, smarter elements, and a sleeker built-in look without moving to induction.

WCE97US0KS: What Makes This Model Stand Out

The WCE97US0KS offers a five-zone layout across a 30-inch ceramic glass surface, with two dual radiant elements for adaptable cookware sizing and intuitive touch controls for precise heat management.

  • Five cooking zones: two dual radiant elements (expandable inner/outer rings), one warm zone, and two standard radiant elements for a full range of cooking tasks.
  • Dual radiant elements allow you to use the inner ring for small pans or expand to the full element for larger cookware, reducing energy use.
  • Dedicated Warm Zone keeps cooked food at serving temperature without committing a full element.
  • Touch controls integrated directly into the ceramic glass surface for a seamless, easy-to-clean interface with zone size and timer settings.
  • Knight Ceramic glass surface (badged on unit) with stainless steel trim frame; dimensions of 78.26 cm W x 58.1 cm D x 13.34 cm H fit standard 30-inch countertop cutouts.
